I found my inspiration from Beaujolais in France after tasting this unprecedented style of wines with friends at a dinner evening. The Beaujolais area is famous for making extremely aromatic and fragrant red wines with elegantly integrated tannins.
I made this wine using Carbonic Maceration. This winemaking method results in wines with pronounced fresh red fruit on the nose and super soft tannins. With only a 12% alcohol, this is the perfect summer red wine to enjoy over long lunches and served slightly chilled.
Inspired by wines from the Beaujolais region in France, this unique Shiraz-Mourvèdre shows a beautiful light red colour in the glass and loads of fresh red berries on the nose. The pallet is welcomed by an explosion of red fruit and freshness. This wine is a great wine to enjoy during the sunny summer days as lunch time red and to be served slightly chilled.
